The Gretsch USA 14 x 5 Aluminium Snare Drum is constructed from a 3mm reinforced aluminium shell providing a dry focused attack with minimal overtones. The shell is fitted with a lightning throw off - allowing you to drop the snare wires instantly for a quick change of timbre during a performance. Additionally the die-cast hoops and 42-strand snare wires give the Gretsch USA Aluminium Snare the reliable and versatile punch in any mix.
The shell exterior has a very light coating of lacquer protecting the shell from cosmetic damage such as bumps and scratches while on the road.
